​VINCENT BARLOW

  • Vincent excels in workshop facilitation, emotional intelligence, client relationships, and team leadership. With experience in a wide variety of sectors, Vincent brings years of experience to help clients meet goals through the training and developing high performing teams. Vincent combines excellent training with team building skills to ensure outcomes are achieved and participants gain the most from the time and effort invested. Vincent has facilitated numerous workshops including an on-boarding program at a large insurance firm, a multi department team development program at a name brand manufacturer and acted as lead facilitator at numerous four-day Value Engineering team studies. He has also conducted a staff wide 5 Disfunctions training for a real estate firm to lead the revitalization of the company brand. Vincent earned his Emotional Intelligence Certification, EQI 2.0 and EQi 360 through MHS Assessments and the Otto Kroeger Associates (OKA).​

ROGER SIMMONS

  • In addition to being the President/COO of Crossinculture, Roger is an Adjunct Professor at Judson University in Elgin, IL where he provides instruction in the area of Cultural Competency and Appreciation. Roger has worked directly with public schools in the area of managing cultural diversity and has provided training in cultural awareness at several non-profit organizations. He has developed and executed strategies to connect local religious entities and nonprofit organizations desiring to serve diverse communities. Roger has also built multicultural, multiracial community alliances between many organizations throughout Fox Valley. He has planned and executed programs to engage the public and volunteers for under-resourced communities in Aurora and Elgin. He is a highly sought-after contributor for building coalitions across non-profit, religious and educational sectors. Roger has mobilized volunteers in the community to expose and expand the number of Spanish speaking advocates for a social justice agency and has also organized round table discussions in local institutions for higher learning, e.g. Judson University and Wheaton College.​

​JANNETTE SIMMONS

  • Jannette is an Illinois Early Intervention Program Spanish and English Interpreter providing ongoing Interpretation Services to Spanish Speaking families and their children, which are receiving services through Early Intervention. She had the opportunity to serve hundreds of families over the past 10 years. She is a bilingual communicator, with 10+ years of experience providing Interpretation Services and sensitively bridging communication and understanding in multicultural settings. Jannette is an engaging facilitator, passionate about promoting cultural awareness and appreciation through practical training for diverse organizations and international short-term ministry teams.
  • Jannette is originally from the Dominican Republic where she also worked with different international teams and where she also obtained her bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • Along with providing bilingual services, Jannette is also a published Mixed Media Artist who seeks to help individuals and organizations to connect and explore their unique creative process  through the art of creative play.
